Description

BUREN WWW Grand Prix issued to the British Army in 1945.

One of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ 12 that comes in at number 6 on the production list, with an estimated production of only 11,000. This puts only the Grana, Eterna, JLC, IWC and Longines ahead of it in terms of rarity.

The 36.5 mm case is chrome topped and there are signs of wear that is often seen with this reference. The dial is original and the plots have aged to a nice creamy patina, the hands have been colour matched and relumed. The cal 462 has been serviced in August ’22 by Simon Freese Watchmakers and 12 months mechanical warranty is included from that date. Overall a good example of this reference that comes fully serviced. A new olive 18 mm Nato band is included as seen for 18mm fixed bars.

The service ticked is included for transfer of warranty.

Points of interest: 11,000 production, serviced with warranty, Dirty Dozen watch.
