Description

A superb example of the rare reference Enicar 072-01, also know as the ‘Mitter’. Named after Czech F1 driver Gerhard Mitter who wore this reference in the 1960s.

The watch is in superb condition and comes with a fully serviced Valjoux 72 movement. The panda dial is in original condition with lovey aged hour markers, the hands match perfectly.

There are a few variations of this dial with different coloured tachy rings, and this one has the white on white. All functions work as expected and start/stop/reset at 12. Pushers are original, as is the signed crown. The case has a few small wear marks commensurate with age, but is in overall very good condition. It appears unpolished and still shows its original brushed finish.

The case is a respectable 38mm ex crown, and the watch comes on a new 20mm leather band as seen.

Nice examples are getting harder to find, and this one is fully serviced, the service ticket will be included with the sale.

Points to consider: Rare ‘Mitter’ chronograph, Valjoux 72, perfect dial and hands, great case, serviced with warranty.
