Description
Hamilton 6BB with ‘Geneve’ dial issued for use of the Royal Air Force, 1975.
These are rare watches that were issued in much smaller numbers, it is thought that only 700-800 were issued in 1975 to the RAF.
This watch is in very good condition with superb custard patina to the hands and dial. The case is also in great shape with only light marks from wear. An interesting note to consider is that these had different crowns to the W10’s, with a higher tooth count. The cal 649 movement was serviced this month, and has 12 months mechanical warranty from that date. New Nato band on fixed 18mm bars.
This is one of the nicest ones i’ve had, and similar examples are getting very hard to find.
