Description
Omega HS8 Fleet Air Arm Pilots Wristwatch. The movement received a Simon Freese service in August ’22 and comes with 12 months mechanical warranty from that date.
The were produced circa 1943 so would have been used during World War 2. These were issued to the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm for use by pilots.
HS8: HS refers to Hydrographic Survey and 8 designates wristwatch. Overall the condition of this watch is good for an issued piece of this age. There is a small dent to the bottom of the right lower lug, but the rest of the case is free of any major marks. The case back still has a legible engraving and the fixed bars are 18mm.
Comes on a new 18mm grey NATO bank along with the service receipt.
Points to consider: HS8 Omega pilot watch, issued circa 1943, fully serviced with warranty.
