Description
A nice Omega Seamaster 176.005 from the 1970s. The 1040 movement has been serviced before sale by Simon Freese Watchmakers, and will have 12 months mechanical warranty from 29/7/22. All functions are working correctly, and the watch is running well.
These are not small watches with their large case, it measures 49mm x 42mm ex crown, and for that reason many have major dings. This example has only a few small marks commensurate with age, and still shows it’s brushed finish to the top and sides of the case.
The lovely deep blue dial has tritium plots that have aged with a nice patina. The hands are original and still have their original lume. The case back still shows a nice and legible hippocampus engraving. The bracelet and ends are 1171/175, and this will fit a wrist of just over 7 inches. Extra links are relatively easy to find for this bracelet if needed.
