Description

Omega Speedmaster 3590.50 from 1996.

A nice example of a 1990 Omega Speedmaster. This is reference 3590.50 and was made between 1988/1996.
The movement serial is 48324376, and this dates the watch to the final year of production, 1996.

Overall the watch is good used condition and all parts are original to the watch. The hands appear re-lumed, but the dial is untouched and is original tritium. It was only a few more years before the material switched to Luminova, and the ‘patina’ effect was lost. The dial has aged to a lovely vanilla patina, and the hands match.

The 42mm case shows some signs of light wear, but these are commensurate with a watch of this age. There are no major dents or dings.

The Cal 861 was serviced by Simon Freese Watchmakers of Essex, and 12 months mechanical warranty is transferred from June 2024. (This excludes accidental/water damage etc).

Bezel is correct B5 (produced 1995/2004). Dial is correct C5, short S. Pushers correct, Type 4 wide and tall. Bracelet and end links 1479/812.. this will currently fit a wrist size circa 7 inches (extra links can easily be found).

When you consider a new Luminova Speedmaster is currently £6000 + these 1990s models offer great value.

Can easily be worn as a daily, all functions work as expected. Please use all high res photos as these form part of the description.

Points to consider; Omega Speedmaster 3590.50. Tritium dial with vanilla patina, relumed hands, neo-vintage.
