Description
This is a nice Omega WWW ‘Dirty Dozen’ that is fairly priced, and one of the favourites among military collectors.
The watch has been serviced by Simon Freese Watchmakers and comes with 12 months mechanical warranty from 27/5/22, the date of service.
This WWW has the MOD dial and what looks like MOD service hands. The hands have been relumed to match the dial, which appears to have its original peppermint green plots, as often seen with the MOD dials. The case is mark free, but does show signs of a polish. The case back is correct and still shows its engravings. The crown appears original and the movement retaining ring is also present.
The stainless steel case is 35mm with fixed 18mm bars/lugs. Serviced cal 30t2 and approx 25,000 originally issued, circa 1945.
With prices of these well above £2500 for nice examples this represents good value for money, and it comes fully serviced by one of the best in the business.
Overall the watch has a nice look to it and comes on a new green nato band.
Point to consider: Omega WWW, MOD dial with original peppermint patina, relumed hands, serviced movement with Simon Freese warranty.
