A WWW MOD dial RECORD that comes serviced with warranty.
One of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ of 12 watches issued to the Ministry of Defence for use of the British Army. This example is one of the few to have a later tritium ‘M.O.D’ dial, which came to replace the previous radium dials.
The cases on these were chrome plated and this one shows some signs of brassing. There are no major dents or dings and the condition is commensurate with an issued watch of this age.
The dial has a nice aged patina, as do the sword hands The case is 36.5mm ex crown with 18mm fixed bars.
This piece comes with a new tan NATO band as seen.
The cal 022K was serviced in November 2024 and has 12 months mechanical warranty from that date. (Mechanical only/excludes accidental/water damage etc/Please read warranty page).
The watch is running very well and keeping good time following its service.
