Description

A nice 6139-6002 with deep blue ‘Cevert’ 6030R dial from February 1973.

One of the first automatic chronographs produced, along with Zenith and Heuer. This reference was also adopted as a daily wearer by French racing Driver, Albert Francois Cevert, hence the nickname ‘Cevert’.

The 41mm case is in good condition with only a few small marks commensurate with a 50 year old watch. The edges are still sharp and it appears to me unpolished.

All functions work as expected and the 6139B movement has been serviced this week by Simon Freese Watchmakers. 12 months mechanical warranty is included from Feb ’22.

Points to consider: ‘Cevert’ dial, sharp case, fully serviced movement with warranty.
