A rare Seiko A829-6040 from the 1980s.
The watch is in superb used vintage condition with only a few light wear marks from use.
The LCD is clear with no damage, and all functions work well. The bezel turns freely and clicks through each function. Please view all photos as they show the watch working.
The bracelet is short and will for a wrist size circa 6-6.5 inches. Seiko bracelets are easily sourced if a longer one is needed. A 20mm rubber strap can also be fitted for a few pounds.
These watches have gained a strong following among Seiko collectors, as they were worn by certain astronauts on space flights. Fratello Watches published an interesting article outlining the history behind the A829 reference.
The case is 37mm with 20mm lugs.
