For sale is a very nice WWW TIMOR circa 1945. One of the favourites within the 12.
The 36.5mm case is unpolished and stands out with its ‘ghosted” finish that was designed to reduce glare and the reflection of light. The watch is in very good vintage condition with correct dial (original), hands and crown. TIMOR is Number 8 in the ‘Dirty Dozen’ volume table with 13000 produced. These are getting harder to find in similar condition. Comes on an olive 18mm Nato as shown, with 2 additional straps in black and grey.
The watch was serviced (25/3/22) by Simon Freese Watchmakers in Southend on Sea and carries the remainder of the 12 month mechanical warranty from that date. Accidental damage, water damage etc is not covered.
Points to consider: Great condition with superb patina to dial and hands, 13,000 made, serviced with warranty, 3 Nato straps.
