A very nice VERTEX WWW that is one of the ‘Dirty Dozen’set.
The watch is in very good condition with a superb peppermint green dial and hands that have aged to a lovely chestnut brown. The chrome plated case is in superb condition without any brassing that is often seen in this reference. I have had dozens of these and this is probably the cleanest case I have seen on a VERTEX. The dial is superb and the plots match the darker hands perfectly. The case has no major dents or dings and has the 18mm fixed bars.
VERTEX are around mid table for production with an estimated 15,000 made circa 1945. These were the dispatched to the MOD for use of the British Army. The cal 59 is running very well but has not be serviced by me. 6 months warranty will be included from the date of sale. Comes on green Nato band as seen.
