A very nice VERTEX WWW that is one of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ set.
The watch is in good condition with a nice patinated dial and hands. The VERTEX is chrome plated and is often seen with brassing to the case sides, this case is in very good condition and has little signs of brassing. The dial is superb and matches the hands perfectly. The case has no major dents or dings, and the lug stamp matches the caseback with its 280 engraving.
VERTEX are around mid table for production with an estimated 15,000 made circa 1945. These were the dispatched to the MOD for use of the British Army.
