For sale is a rare and hard to find Heuer Automatic presentation box, these boxes were first seen in the late 1960s and early ’70s.
The box is in very good condition considering its age. The inside is in mint condition with a clear and legible Heuer logo printed on the silk lining. Many logos have rub marks where the watch head has rubbed the lining. The outside is in very good condition also and the box snaps shut firmly. The velvet lining is still extremely bright and the colours have not dulled. The are a few small mark on the top of the box, which are the only marks I can see. The hinge lining at the rear is still 100% intact as it left the factory, many of these boxes show damage to this part, but this one shows no signs of wear.
Size is 7x8x9.5 cms.
This Heuer Red Racing box is for the Automatic Cal. 11 and 12 models like Carrera, Monaco, Autavia from the late 1960s and 1970’s.
