A very nice CWC ‘Fatboy’ issued to the British Army in 1982.
Original Fatboys are getting harder to find in this condition and this one has just been part stripped and cleaned by Simon Freese Watchmakers before sale. The dial has a lovely patina, as do the hands. The case is in very good shape with only a few small marks commensurate with an issued watch of this age. The case back had a sticker over it that has protected it from strap rub, the engravings are therefor still extremely crisp. Case 35mm with 18mm fixed bars.
Comes on a new 18mm green NATO band as seen.
This is one of the nicest Fatboys that I have offered for sale recently. I have other ‘Fatboys’ available, including a rare 1981 ‘Navigator’.
