A very nice CWC ‘Fatboy’ issued to the British Army in 1980, the first year.
Original Fatboys are getting harder to find in good condition and this one has just been checked and cleaned by Simon Freese Watchmakers before sale. The open CWC dial has a lovely patina, as does the hands. The case is in good shape with only a few small marks commensurate with an issued watch of this age. The case back still has a sharp engraving showing the issue year and number, 6867/80
Comes on new grey Nato band as seen.
