A very nice CWC ‘Fatboy’ issued to the British Army in 1982, the last year before the case was slimmed.
Original Fatboys are getting harder to find in good condition and this one has just been checked and cleaned by Simon Freese Watchmakers before sale. The CWC dial has a lovely patina, as do the hands. The case is in good shape with only a few small marks commensurate with an issued watch of this age. The case back still has a sharp engraving showing the issue year and number, 5632/82. This watch has been checked by my watchmaker, Simon Freese, and a new battery has been fitted. All functions are working correctly.
Comes on new grey Nato band as seen.
