Anyone with a healthy interest in early CWC watches will appreciate how much rarer the Navigators are in comparison to a standard G10.
This example is correct for an ’81 with the earlier dial showing its open CWC logo. The date window box also cuts into the minute track which changed the year after. Overall condition is very good with a sharp fat-boy case and running movement. The dial and hands have aged to a lovely vanilla patina, as is often seen on CWC dials.
The watch has been checked by my watchmaker and a fresh cell was fitted. Comes on a new 18mm black NATO as seen.
If you want one of these rare birds they don’t appear for sale that often.
