Description
These rare watches were assembled by watchmakers of the ‘Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry’, F.H.
The story goes that Omega supplied the parts for the watchmakers to assemble. The dial is simply signed ‘FH’ ,and the movement is a cal 1012. Each has its own case back number, and this one is stamped 1711. The movement was serviced in June 2023 by Simon Freese. Serial 33821564.
The watch wears very well on the wrist at 36.5mm, and the lugs are 19mm. The case appears unpolished and is in good shape, there are a few light wear marks commensurate with age.
The dial has small tritium plots, and all are present with a date window at 3. The original plexi has an external cyclops for easier reading.
It is paired with a new soft brown leather band with quick release bars.
Below is a Hodinkee link with a bit more information. Their watch is now sold, and was priced at $2500!
